The Preserve Farm at Little Choga specializes in American Livestock Breeds Conversancy of Poultry and beef. Our poultry consists of Ohio Buckeye Chickens, Red Blue Lace Wyandotte’s, Narragansett Turkeys, Ring neck Pheasants, Quail, Silver Appleyard ducks. Our cattle at Scottish Highlanders or “hairy Coos”. Our miniature donkey Elmer oversees the pasture for predators with Molly our Great Pyrenees dog. She usually is the first to greet anyone in the pasture to provide her seal of approval. Touch an Alpaca, Angora rabbit or a Pygora goat. The additional pygmy goats are friendly and always looking for someone give them a quick scratch on the head.

Come and enjoy fishing in our pond which is fed by a pristine mountain stream originating in the beautiful Nantahala National Forest. The Preserve Farm at Little Choga’s stocked Trout and Catfish pond is a wonderful place for the kids to catch a fish for dinner. We supply you with the poles, bucket, net and bait; no license required. So, come and have a wonderful time and take home a delicious meal for the family to enjoy.
